Transportation bipartisanship goes rank and file

It might just stick.
Bipartisanship in the quest for a new surface transportation bill arose from the depths of the summer of our discontent with SAFETEA-LU’s sucessor; and it seems to be hanging on. When we get to January, probably February or even March, and a new bill is front and center in Washington, it may actually still be alive.
Check out this New York Times story that addresses not the leadership’s bipartisanship we have seen in the Senate, but rank and file bipartisanship form both chambers.
