Cold mix is a combination of unheated mineral aggregates and emulsified asphalt binders which can be plant-mixed or mixed-on-location.

Uses/Applications

Cold mix asphalt is used for temporary patching.

Rinker Materials”s Northwest contracting division operates as a general contractor and subcontractor specializing in crushed rock and asphalt pavement placement – for private, commercial, municipal, state and federal projects. We also provide cold mix asphalt for parking lots, streets, highways and airport runways.

Rinker Materials also sells WSDOT approved mixes, private hot mixes and ATB (asphalt treated base).
