Hyundai Construction Equipment announced at ConExpo-Con/Agg that it will release its H930C backhoe loader in North America in late 2015. The company already sells the loader in Latin America, but the model on the North American market will have different features, including changes to the backhoe boom, swing tower and front loader frame. Product specifications will be released at a later date.
Volvo Construction Equipment releases its DD25B double drum compactor, which is powered by a three-cylinder, 25-horsepower Volvo D1.7A Tier 4 Final engine. The 5,400-pound narrow drum is 39.4 inches wide, while the 5,776-pound wide drum has a width of 47.2 inches. Both drums are 27.5 inches in diameter with a frequency of 3,300 or 4,000 vpm, depending on the application.
Bobcat’s latest 600 frame size loaders – the S630 and S650 (pictured) skid steer loaders and T630 and T650 compact track loaders – are powered by an ultra-low particulate combustion (ULPC) engine that delivers 74 horsepower and meets Tier 4 emissions standards without using a diesel particulate filter. Features include radius lift path on both 630 models, vertical lift path on both 650 models and all-steel suspension, forged steel rollers and a cab-forward design on all models.
Fecon Inc. offers its EX60 utility track vehicle (UTV) for material handling and vegetation management. Introduced at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014, the machine is powered by a 46-horsepower engine and has a 6,000-pound payload capacity, 7 mph travel speed and all-terrain rubber tracks.
