Metso acquires Copperstate Industrial Services
Metso has acquired Copperstate Industrial Services, Inc., a mining services provider based in Phoenix, Arizona. The acquisition strengthens Metso’s position as a leading service and technology provider for the mining and construction sectors. The company is transferred to Metso on August 1, 2011. The value of the transaction will not be disclosed.
“This fits directly in the center of Metso’s profitable growth and development strategy,” says Randy Reisinger, senior vice president of Engineered Services Solutions, which includes the Spares, Repairs, Engineered-to-order and Field Service business units. “Metso’s objective is to enhance customer satisfaction by employing a larger faction of knowledgeable, well-trained service people to meet customers’ skills and availability needs.”
