Global Crane Sales, the exclusive worldwide distributor for Zoomlion rough terrain cranes, will be making its debut at the Conexpo-Con/Agg trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, 22-26 March 2011.
On show at Booth S-619 will be two Zoomlion rough terrain models:
Both units have already been sold to major US rental companies. The identity of the customers will be revealed at the show.
Global Crane also offers Zoomlion RT 35 and RT 100 models to customers worldwide
These models are the first RT cranes assembled in China to secure ANSI B30.5 conformity. They have been designed with significant input from the US-based distributor, whose management team includes crane professionals with many years’ experience at other leading manufacturers.
Zoomlion rough terrain cranes use significant US and European components for peak performance even on the most challenging construction sites. These include:
Steel for critical elements including telescopic boom sections and outriggers also comes from Europe.
Vice president Uri Toudjarov reports that Global Crane has taken orders for several dozen Zoomlion RTs around the world since signing up with the Chinese manufacturer last year.
“Despite the poor economic conditions, we have penetrated every major RT market in the world,” he says.
Mr Toudjarov says that there are three key reasons why Zoomlion RTs have fired the interest of customers:
“As everyone knows, the rental rates have remained static over the past three years but manufacturers have all been increasing their prices. This has really put the squeeze on customers,” says Mr Toudjarov.
“By offering a fully-loaded machine for 30% less than the competition, we give our customers the best return on investment. Our cranes have the same internationally-recognised components as our competitors, but more features as standard and more lifting capacity through the chart. This means that our customers can do more lifting while spending less. We represent their best avenue to maximum profitability.”
He adds: “By buying three of our cranes instead of two from our competitors, a rental company will get 50% more revenue. It really is that simple.”
The RT 60 has 112ft (34m) of main boom and a 33-56ft (10-17m) jib. Highlights from its load chart show that the RT 60 can lift 10,320 lb (4,681kg) at 65ft (19.8m) radius with 81ft (24.7m) of boom.
The RT 80 has a main boom of 126ft (38.5m) and also has a 33-56ft (10-17m) jib. For details of the RT 80’s lifting power, come by Booth S-619 at Conexpo, see the crane and meet the team.
