California experienced the sharpest decline, with diesel costs dropping $0.028 per gallon since last week and $0.184 per gallon compared to a year ago.

National diesel costs are continuing to decline. On-highway diesel prices in the U.S. are $0.010 per gallon less than a week ago and have decreased $0.017 per gallon year-over-year.
