The market feedback following the launch of PALFINGER’s new HIGH PERFORMANCE cranes has been phenomenal.  Dealers and customers couldn’t be happier.  And they have been anxiously awaiting the newest models in the 20 meter-ton class.

The features that really found favour with customers and dealers – such as “more lifting capacity without an increase in weight, more maneuverability with Power Link Plus, intelligent design and maintenance-free boom system along with less servicing” — can, of course, all be found in and on the two new Power Link cranes.

With their level of efficiency and economy, the PK 23502 and the PK 26002-EH can’t be beat.  In terms of outreach and maneuverability they are clearly the leaders in their class.  Thanks to the Power Link linkage system, operators enjoy a uniform lifting capacity over their entire work area.

The knuckle boom, which is capable of tilting upwards 15 degrees (Power Link Plus), enables maximum movement geometry and also tremendously broadens the type of work the crane can do.

The “EH” model comes equipped with the innovative HPLS technology.  With E-HPLS, the crane speed can be reduced and the lifting capacity increased at the same time.  In addition, the electronic regulation of the high-end control valve allows for optimal multi-controllability.  That means several crane functions can be operated simultaneously.

The PK 23502 has a maximum lifting moment of 162,030 ft.lbs and the PK 26002-EH, a lifting moment of 179,950 ft.lbs.  Equipped with up to 8 hydraulic booms, both cranes attain the enormous hydraulic outreach of 69′-11″ (21.3 m).

The knuckle boom, which is capable of tilting upwards 15 degrees (Power Link Plus), enables maximum movement geometry and also tremendously broadens the type of work the crane can do.

Stream-lined appearance and greater comfort with functional design.  Synthetic covers and internally routed hydraulic hoses are not only more aesthetically pleasing but also primarily serve to protect both the operator and the crane system.  Synthetic covers protect sensitive crane parts against dirt and damage.  As a result, they reduce service and maintenance costs and considerably extend the life of the loading crane.  By using premium-quality, high-resistance synthetic materials, which can be used in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees F to 176 degrees F, PALFINGER increases the crane’s value.  The panels are easy to dismantle for maintenance and servicing.

Operators agree:  “The maintenance-free boom system definitely reduces servicing.  The use of sliding elements made from special synthetic materials and the well-established KTL coating means that we no longer have to service the boom system!”
