For the 48”x48” x 2” pad the vertical capacity is 140,000 lbs., while the 45o angle pad capacity is 55,000 lbs.
AlturnaMATS Ground Protection Mats are widely regarded as the premier mats to protect lawns from costly damaging ruts due to heavy vehicle traffic. AlturnaMATS replace plywood which splinter, get waterlogged, warp and break after only a few uses. The mats are guaranteed for six years and pay for themselves after only a few uses. AlturnaMATS feature a bold diamond plate tread design for maximum traction. The mats range in size up to 4’ x 8’ and are made of tough 1/2” polyethylene. The mats have excellent recovery memory. In addition, AlturnaMATS, Inc. offer VersaMATS, which feature on one side a flat, slip-resistant tread designed for foot traffic and the diamond plate tread on the opposite side. A third mat in the line-up is Mobile Matt which is slightly lighter in weight and has a bold “M” tread design on one side and gripping studs on the underside. VersaMATS and Mobile Matts provide the same turf repair saving advantages as AlturnaMATS.
