Better Roads takes a gold and silver

Better Roads competed in a type of Olympics for the b2b publishing industry. Although it doesn’t require any athletic skills, the competition recognizes the best of the best in trade publications.

ASBPE, a professional association to create b2b excellence for full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors, and designers employed in the business, trade, and specialty press, honored Better Roads with a national silver award in the Azbee Awards of Excellence for its Regular Department-Editorial category for its “Highway Contractor” section in the under $2 million in publication revenue news section category. ASBPE also honored Better Roads with a regional gold award in the Midwest-South regional for its 2011 Bridge Inventory: The State of Our Bridges Annual Bridge Inventory. This section has won a national or regional award from ASBPE since 2008 and was honored with a Neal Award from American Business Media in 2010.

ASBPE presented the awards at a July 26 banquet in Chicago. The association gave several other regional and national awards to Randall-Reilly Business Media publications, the parent company of Better Roads.
