AEM recognizes “Statistics Outstanding Merit Award” winners

| June 1, 2010

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has presented 65 member manufacturers with “Statistics Outstanding Merit Awards” for exemplary 2009 performance in AEM’s data reporting programs.

The association says these manufacturers’ actions “enhance the association’s ability to provide meaningful market information to member companies for business benchmarking and planning.” The annual awards are based on statistical data reporting timeliness, accuracy, consistency and good corporate citizenship.

AEM statistics activities encompass more than 180 unique product programs with more than 265 reporting companies, covering information from county-level retail sales data in North America to shipments data on a global basis. For more information, go to www.aem.org in the Statistics section.
